Job Description:
Nightingale's List is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential patient care across diverse healthcare environments, delivering high-quality support to ensure the health and well-being of all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs, performing wound care, and documenting patient conditions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Provide bedside care, supporting patients with activities of daily living as needed.
- Observe and report any changes in patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN.
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Support patients with mobility needs, including turning, repositioning, and transferring.
- Educate patients and families on healthcare instructions and follow-up care.
Requirements:
- Must have an active LPN license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience, preferably in correctional, nursing home, or rehabilitation settings.
- CPR certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
- Empathetic, detail-oriented approach to patient care.
