Position: Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Main Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers direct and indirect resident care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, prevention, and evaluation.
• Directs the day-to-day activities of the resident assistants.
• Prepares and administers medications as ordered by the physician and performs other drug administration.
• Communicates changes in residents'''' clinical condition to the physician, nursing supervisor, and family.
• Completes required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; charts and documents per community policy.

Requirements

• You love working with people and handle everyday challenges with a smile!
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Alabama Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting
• Customer service oriented and a natural problem solver
• Able to communicate well in both verbal and written forms
• Committed to interacting professionally and with care toward residents, families, and other staff
