    What We Offer

    Novant Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Internal Medicine team!

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) serves as an integral member of the healthcare team by establishing authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their chosen support systems while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members, the LPN helps provide coordinated care that promotes optimal health, disease prevention, and improved patient outcomes.

    What You'll Do

    In this role, the LPN supports patients across the continuum of care by assisting with the prevention, assessment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities include preparing patients for office visits, obtaining and documenting accurate medical histories and vital signs, administering medications and treatments within the scope of practice, coordinating laboratory testing and referrals, assisting with preventive screenings and immunizations, reinforcing provider-directed care plans, and providing patient education to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and effective chronic disease management.

    What We're Looking For

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
    • Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferred.
    • Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state LPN license, required.
    • Additional Skills Required: Computer skills, Phone call etiquette, Organizational Skills.
