As an Assisted Living Nurse, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to our tenants. Working in a supportive environment, you will play a vital role in promoting wellness, dignity, and independence for our tenants while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 2nd Shift Full Time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or senior housing is preferred
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on geriatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Provide nursing care and support to tenants in the assisted living community
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and community protocols
- Monitor tenants health status and respond promptly to any changes or concerns
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and caregivers, to ensure holistic care for tenants
- Educate tenants and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures
- Document all care provided accurately and maintain up-to-date tenants records
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
