Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - hospice care

WorkFit Medical Staffing, PLCC is seeking Licensed Practicing Nurses with hospice care experience for per diem needs on all shifts. We are partnered with an exceptional long-term care facility to provide end of life care to remarkable residents. Pay rate: $42 - $45 hourly 

Hours of the Licensed Practicing Nurse: DAYS/EVES/NIGHTS 

Job Results & Essential Function:

Professional Proficiency Demonstrated by the Licensed Practicing Nurse:

• Maintains professional competencies and cares for terminal patients 
• Assists DON and RN supervisor with care plans and updates medical records, relay all communication in a punctual time frame while on duty
• Helps aides with lifting patients
• Maintains friendly and caring environment 

Education & Experience & Licenses and/or Certifications:

• Graduate with a license of Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) to practice in New York State.
• CPR/BLS - AHA preferred  
• Physical within a year w/ PPD or alternative
• Clear NYS LPN license
