At the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB), your nursing skills can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. We are looking for a compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.
In this role, you'll provide hands-on nursing care, monitor health needs, administer medications and treatments, and work closely with individuals receiving services for mental health, intellectual and developmental disabilities and substance use disorder. You'll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on promoting health, safety, independence, and quality of life.
Requirements:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia
One (1) year of experience in medication administration in a substance abuse treatment, psychiatric setting, or long-term care facility, including the dispensing of narcotic medication.
