Enter Job Description...
  • Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
  • Administer prescribed medications, immunizations, and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinic protocols.
  • Perform injections, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Assist providers with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and minor medical treatments.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws and point-of-care testing as required.
  • Perform patient assessments and monitor patient responses to treatments and interventions.
  • Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, disease management, and preventive health practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care services.
  • Triage patient concerns and communicate significant findings to providers and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, HIPAA requirements, and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support culturally competent care for the American Indian and Alaska Native population.
  • Maintain examination rooms, medical supplies, and equipment necessary for daily clinic operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) Program.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Oklahoma or eligibility for licensure through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
