    TITLE: LPN

    LOCATION: Alpharetta, Georgia

    FULLTIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time

    START: IMMEDIATELY

    SHIFT: Flexible, depending on availability

    HOURS: Monday - Sunday, flexible hours


    Position REQUIREMENTS:

    G-tube feeding, Pediatric nursing experience

    Preferred, but not required:

    We are looking for a reliable LPN to care for a child in a professional and considerate manner. Nurse professional must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.


    Responsibilities

    • Uses clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to triages patient/family calls and determine appropriate interventions.
    • Completes assigned visits when working during office hours.
    • Provides patient and/or caregiver with appropriate instructions to support safe care of the patient in the home.
    • Accurately and timely documents nursing assessment/interventions and other patient/family contacts according to agency policy in the electronic medical record. Updates the patient plan of care as appropriate. Documentation should be complete at the end each day.
    • Obtains completed consent forms and completes immediate needs assessment as needed to meet agency need.
    • Remains easily accessible by phone and is available during period of on-call.
    • Maintains confidentiality of patients and their families, co-workers, volunteers, and the organization at all times.
    • Adheres to the organizations Standards of Conduct and HIPAA regulations.
    • Reports any potential misconduct or violation of the organizations Standards of Conduct, HIPAA regulations, or federal or state laws and regulations.

    Skills

    • Proven experience as LPN or similar role
    • Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks
    • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
