Pay Rate: Starting at $43.00/hour
Position Overview
J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced Nurse (LPN) for a temporary contract opportunity with a busy outpatient primary care practice in Manchester, CT. This role is ideal for a compassionate and organized nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient primary care setting
• Conduct patient assessments, collect health histories, and document findings
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and other nursing interventions as ordered
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and wellness initiatives
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Connecticut  Nurse (LPN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Clinic LPN or in an outpatient ambulatory care setting
• Experience in primary care strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
