Pay Rate: $40–$42/hour | Approximately $1,522/week

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clinical and front-office functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The LVN/LPN will provide direct patient care, perform clinical procedures, assist healthcare providers, maintain accurate patient documentation, and support front-office operations to ensure efficient clinic workflow and a positive patient experience.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both front- and back-office settings and demonstrate strong clinical, communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, prepare, and room patients while providing a professional and positive patient experience.
- Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs, medical history, and other clinical information.
- Perform venipuncture, blood draws, and specimen collection and handling.
- Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as directed and within applicable scope of practice.
- Perform EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing as needed.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and other clinical services.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and health maintenance.
- Assist with patient scheduling, phone calls, check-in/check-out, and other front-office functions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Support both front-office and back-office clinical operations.
- Assist with referrals, follow-up coordination, and patient care communication as needed.
- Follow applicable HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, safety, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain examination rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and administrative staff.
- Assist with maintaining smooth patient flow throughout daily clinic operations.
- Support health education, preventive care, and community outreach activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current and active LVN/LPN license applicable to the position.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical or medical office experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and specimen handling.
- Experience working with EMR systems.
- Strong patient-care, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.
- Current BLS or CPR certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in both front-office and back-office clinical settings.
- Experience with EKGs, vaccinations, and point-of-care testing.
- Experience with patient education and preventive healthcare.
- Occupational Health or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Experience supporting health education and community outreach programs.
