Pay Rate: $20/hr (Paid Weekly)

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Floor Technician to support weekend pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Floor Technician will be responsible for picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and preparing prescription orders for final verification by a pharmacist.
The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Pick medications from shelving, prepack racks, and designated storage areas.
- Apply labels to blister cards and scan products for accuracy.
- Prepare completed prescriptions for final pharmacist verification.
- Prepack frequently ordered medications, including labeling and proper storage.
- Manually package medications, materials, and products.
- Process returned medications and properly recycle or dispose of products according to established procedures.
- Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan correctly.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations.
- Replenish vials, labels, packaging materials, and other pharmacy supplies as needed.
- Follow all applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA requirements.
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Clear and active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to work at a moderate and consistent pace.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy technician experience.
- Experience with prescription fulfillment, medication packaging, labeling, or scanning.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Finger dexterity required for operating equipment and handling medications and packaging materials.
- Ability to read fine print and accurately distinguish medication labels.
- Ability to hear normal voice sounds and communicate effectively in the pharmacy environment.
