LICENSED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – CARE COORDINATOR

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Earn $22–$24 per hour.
• Work Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. CST; complete the first four weeks of training from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
ROLE IMPACT
Support members participating in a Prescription Optimization Program by helping them access essential medications efficiently and affordably. Serve as a key connection between patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical assistance programs. Help improve medication access outcomes by delivering accurate, compassionate, and responsive member support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members who need prescription medication support or patient assistance.
• Coordinate with prescribers, pharmacies, and patient assistance programs to obtain medication approvals and support timely prescription fulfillment.
• Manage inbound and outbound member communications while following program requirements and patient privacy standards.
• Track and document member interactions, medication assistance activities, and follow-up actions through resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member needs and deliver a high-quality patient and member experience.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
• Maintain an active Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacy Technician Certification valid in at least one state.
• Bring 1+ years of call center experience within healthcare, pharmacy, or member support.
• Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
CLINICAL SKILL SET
• Coordinate prescription and medication access support.
• Navigate patient assistance and prescription optimization programs.
• Communicate with patients, prescribers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical assistance partners.
• Document member interactions and follow-up activities accurately.
• Maintain patient privacy and program compliance standards.
