Salary Range: $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Lead and Develop the Team
• Oversee daily agency operations and ensure the team works efficiently.
• Coach, motivate, and support team members in achieving their performance goals.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and ongoing employee development.
• Build a positive, accountable, and customer-focused work environment.
• Drive Sales and Business Growth
• Develop strategies to increase new business and grow existing accounts.
• Identify cross-selling and account-development opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, customer retention, and overall agency results.
• Help reduce policy cancellations and strengthen long-term client relationships.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Support team members with complex insurance questions and customer situations.
• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Ensure quotes, renewals, policy changes, and other transactions are processed accurately and promptly.
• Maintain Quality and Compliance
• Monitor team workflows and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations, company procedures, and agency policies.
• Lead by example and promote professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Active New York Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance licenses required.
• Previous experience working in an insurance agency.
• Strong knowledge of auto and homeowners insurance.
• Previous management or team leadership experience preferred.
• A sales-minded professional with a strong customer-service focus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to coach employees, manage performance, and keep a team accountable.
• A self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented approach to work.
