As a School-Based LNA, you will:

• Provide basic first aid and medical support to students and staff
• Assist the school nurse in monitoring students with chronic conditions
• Support students with daily hygiene, mobility, and personal care needs
• Monitor students vital signs and report health concerns to the school medical staff
• Promote good health habits by educating students on hygiene and wellness
• Assist in maintaining accurate student health records and documentation
• Create a safe and supportive environment where students feel cared for

A few must-haves for School-Based LNAs:

• Active LNA certification in New Hampshire
• Experience working with children, school health, or pediatrics preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification (Interim offers this course free of charge)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with students, staff, and parents
• A compassionate and patient nature, ensuring students feel comfortable and supported
