Licensed MI/CD Psychotherapist - Detox Unit

Job Overview

Reviews assessments at time of admission, determines clinical interventions, facilitates therapy and provides education for patients and their families. Facilitates treatment planning and manages each case. Responsible for development of transition/discharge plan. Communicates effectively and respectfully with others, including interdisciplinary teams and all other contacts. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

Location: UMMC West Bank, Minneapolis, MN - Adult Lodging Plus

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, nursing or closely related field
• One of the following current Minnesota licenses: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Alcohol Drug Counselor Cert
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN) prior to end of orientation

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of supervised therapy experience in mental health/substance use disorders including assessment, individual, group and family therapy
