Location: South Dakota
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide ongoing behavioral health care to adults across South Dakota. Eligible licenses include LCSW, LMFT, and LPC. The primary focus is helping clients manage mental health concerns, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and major life changes through structured outpatient therapy. You will support clients in improving daily functioning, developing healthier coping strategies, and working toward practical treatment goals over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete clinical evaluations and identify appropriate treatment priorities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate to each client’s presentation
  • Monitor progress and make clinically appropriate adjustments to care
  • Complete accurate and timely progress notes and required documentation

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted South Dakota license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field
  • Previous experience providing mental health counseling or psychotherapy
  • Knowledge of assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation practices
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment
