Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Indiana-licensed LMHC to provide outpatient counseling services through telehealth. The role involves direct client care, clinical assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing evaluation of client needs.

The position is suited to a clinician who is comfortable managing an independent caseload and providing consistent care in a virtual setting. Clients may present with concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant clinical information
  • Establish treatment goals and appropriate care plans
  • Apply evidence-based counseling approaches within the scope of licensure
  • Evaluate client response to treatment and modify interventions when clinically indicated
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, treatment records, and other required documentation
  • Assess and respond to safety concerns in accordance with established procedures

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Active Indiana LMHC license in good standing
  • Previous experience providing counseling or psychotherapy services
  • Comfortable delivering therapy in a remote setting
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with electronic health records preferred
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and sound judgment
