| Job Description: | The Center for Healthy Minds & Practice (CHaMP) at the University of Florida College of Medicine (UFCOM) and UF Health is seeking a full-time licensed mental health professional to join its team to help cultivate psychological wellbeing among UFCOM and UF Health faculty, residents, and staff in support of their personal and professional development. This counselor will provide short-term therapy both inperson and via telehealth, provide group support following critical incidents, facilitate ongoing support groups, provide training for and assistance to the clinician peer support program, and address emerging situations. The counselor’s primary responsibility is to offer clinical services for individuals who work at the University of Florida College of Medicine/UF Health. Applicants should have experience working with a wide range of psychosocial (e.g., burnout/job stress, marital/familial stress, substance use concerns, interpersonal difficulties) and mental health concerns at varying levels of severity, with the ability to refer to community services as needed. Experience working with doctoral-level professionals, including healthcare workers, is preferred. The job will involve collaboration and coordination with other resources including the UF Employee Assistance Program, Care for Colleagues, UFCOM Director of Wellness Programs, and GatorCare Wellness, among others. This position may be deemed an essential employee with additional required responsibilities during a declared emergency. About This Role
