The County of San Diego is currently recruiting for the position of
Licensed Mental Health Clinician, Sheriffs Detentions
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
The starting salary for this position will be based on the candidate's qualifications at time of appointment.
Future Salary Increase
June 2027 - 3.8% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the-Board + .80% Market Adjustment)

This is a licensed professional class in the Sheriffs Office, Medical Services Division. Mental Health Clinicians provide a wide variety of professional mental health and case management services to incarcerated individuals with psychiatric disorders. In this position, you will conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans within a medical/psychiatric treatment program to patients presenting a varied array of psychiatric/psychological/substance use issues.
