Overview $7,500 Sign-On/Retention Bonus The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides mental assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention to at a trauma-informed treatment facility for court placed youth in a secure setting. It is located at the Sununu Youth Service Center: Sununu Youth Services Center We are offering a $7,500 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. The bonus is available for external hires only and certain conditions apply. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week benefited position with a choice of the following schedules. The hiring manager can speak further about these during the interview: Sunday through Thursday (12 pm - 10 pm; some flexibility in schedule) Tuesday through Saturday (12 pm - 10 pm; some flexibility in schedule) This position could also be four 10-hour shifts, Sunday through Wednesday; Wednesday through Saturday More information about our benefits can be found here: DHMC and Clinics Employee Benefits Responsibilities Provides complete psychosocial assessments of patients and families including but not limited to: abilities, aptitudes, interests and motivation, psychological aspects of physical illnesses, accidents, injuries or disabilities and substance abuse/dependencies. Evaluates, diagnoses and provides treatment for patients within areas such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, aggressive behavior, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, eating disorders, and developmental disorders. Establishes achievable treatment goals with clients utilizing the most appropriate types of psychotherapy (i.e., behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, crisis intervention, family/couples, group, counseling and/or supportive cognitive therapy). Observe, describe, diagnose, evaluate, treat, consult, interpret and modify human behavior by applying psychological principles, methods, or procedures to patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, or emotional disorders or disabilities. Collaborates effectively with team members when appropriate. Documents appropriate objective, concise and pertinent clinical data in the medical record. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or Addictions Counseling from an accredited institution of higher education, including an internship meeting professional standards. Must be able to demonstrate that he or she has provided psychological services, on an inpatient, outpatient or consultative basis in the past 12 months. Required Licensure/Certifications Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in NH and VT
