The Opportunity

As a Medicare & Individual Health Insurance Sales Advisor, you'll develop new business by building referral partnerships, networking within the community, educating prospective clients, and helping individuals identify coverage that fits their needs. You'll advise clients across Medicare, Individual Health, supplemental, dental, vision, and life insurance solutions while building and managing a strong sales pipeline. This is an opportunity for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys developing relationships, creating new business opportunities, and becoming a trusted resource for clients and referral partners.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, community partnerships, seminars, financial advisors, and outbound prospecting
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed established production goals
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend Medicare, Individual Health, supplemental, dental, vision, life insurance, and related coverage solutions
  • Develop and present customized recommendations and enrollment strategies based on client needs
  • Build long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication, education, and ongoing support
  • Conduct annual policy reviews and identify opportunities for coverage enhancements and client retention
  • Establish and strengthen referral partner relationships with financial advisors, healthcare providers, employer groups, tax professionals, and community organizations
  • Conduct educational workshops, seminars, webinars, and community events to promote awareness and generate business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and client documentation within CRM systems
  • Partner with Client Service Coordinators and internal team members to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience

 

Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Medicare carrier certifications and Marketplace certifications
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and follow-through abilities
  • Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and build referral relationships
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms, and virtual meeting technology
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client and referral partner experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience within Medicare, Individual Health, healthcare, insurance, financial services, or a related field
  • Experience working with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, ACA Marketplace, and supplemental insurance products
  • Experience conducting educational presentations, workshops, or seminars
  • Knowledge of carrier products, regulatory requirements, and industry trends
  • Experience developing and managing referral partner networks
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and retention goals

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $65,000 annually
  • Commission Eligible: Yes
