    Job Description

    • Deliver high-quality, customized massage sessions based on each client's needs
    • Perform thorough client assessments and create thoughtful treatment plans
    • Apply techniques such as Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and body treatments like Salt Scrubs and Seaweed Wraps with precision
    • Integrate knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and pain management into sessions
    • Uphold strict standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety
    • Create a calm, welcoming, and professional treatment environment
    • Maintain accurate, professional client records and session notes
    • Support studio operations, including scheduling, client communication, cleaning, and organization
    • Engage in retail by recommending products that support client outcomes
    • Educate clients on ongoing wellness practices and products
    • Assist with marketing efforts (social media, newsletters, community events)
    • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve the client experience
    • Build strong client relationships that encourage rebooking and referrals
    • Optional: lead local market initiatives to promote Cape Saltie products and services

    Requirements

    • Valid license as a MA based Massage Therapist - Prenatal Massage Certifications are a plus.
    • Current professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
    • Proven experience in medical spa or occupational health settings preferred.
    • Professional references are a must.
    • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
    • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately.
    • Knowledge of pain management techniques and holistic approaches to health improvement.
