Jay Jarvis State Farm in Germantown is adding a Licensed Life Insurance Agent who will focus on life insurance and financial protection for families in our community. You'll get a steady base salary, warm leads from our existing book, and the training and support of an established State Farm office.
What you'll do
- Hold needs-based conversations with existing and new clients about life insurance and long-term financial protection
- Run life insurance quotes, present options clearly, and close policies
- Review current customers' coverage to find life insurance gaps and cross-sell opportunities
- Set your own appointments and follow up consistently to build a pipeline
- Partner with the agency's sales and service team on referrals
What you'll earn
- $40,000 base salary
- Bonus and commission with total earning potential of $80,000+

What you need
- Active Life & Health license (required)
- Property & Casualty license, or willingness to earn it after hire (we'll support you)
- Experience selling life insurance, financial products, or another consultative sale
- Comfort calling prospects and booking appointments
- Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
