Electrician
Currently hiring for licensed journeymen electricians to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment within a data center setting.
Working 50-60 hours per week.
Pay is $64 an hour + $750-$900 per diem weekly available if over 60 miles away.
MUST HAVE Valid Iowa Journeyman Electrical License or reciprocating license
Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in a data center environment.
- Install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
- Install cable tray, pull and terminate feeders, power, and control wiring.
- Install and connect switchgear, panels, transformers, and electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Perform all work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License, or the ability to reciprocate into Iowa before starting.
- Commercial and/or data center electrical experience preferred.
- Experience with conduit installation, cable tray, feeders, and terminations.
- Ability to work 50–60 hours per week.
