Sheppard Insurance Agencies, an established Allstate Agency in Milford, OH, is seeking an experienced, motivated Licensed Insurance Sales & Service Representative to join our growing, in-office team.

This is a sales-focused position with customer service responsibilities. We're looking for someone who enjoys generating new business, conducting insurance reviews, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and building lasting client relationships.

We provide the tools to help you succeed: a large existing book of business, agency-provided leads, new sales technology, and uncapped commissions!

This is a full-time, in-office position. Remote and hybrid work are not available. Compensation includes hourly base pay, commissions, and bonuses; actual earnings depend on performance.

Salary Range: $60000.00 - $100000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development Primary Focus

• Generate new business through agency-provided leads and prospecting
• Sell auto, home, and other P&C insurance products
• Conduct insurance reviews to identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities
• Recommend appropriate coverage and close sales
• Manage your sales pipeline and consistently achieve production goals

Customer Service & Client Relationships

• Assist existing clients with policy questions, changes, and service requests
• Build strong relationships that encourage retention and referrals
• Provide excellent customer service while identifying additional insurance needs
• Collaborate with team members to support agency growth

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License

Minimum 1-2 years of successful P&C insurance experience

Proven ability to generate new business, quote, and close sales

Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills

Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing your own sales activities

Ability to work in our Milford, OH office

Preferred:

Experience with Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, or another P&C insurance agency
