Ready for a career-defining build?
We’re assembling a team of traveling Journeymen for a long-haul industrial project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If you’re a licensed electrician who thrives on precision, safety, and getting it right the first time, this is your moment. Must have Journeyman License.
The mission
Help deliver a multi-year industrial program where workmanship is measured in millimeters and minutes saved on commissioning. You’ll travel (Texas and other reciprocal-state Journeymen encouraged) and plug into a 10-year plan with stability, overtime, and support.
What success looks like
- Flawless installs: EMT, rigid, IMC, and flex; panels, lighting, and equipment that meet NEC and clear inspection on the first pass
- Smart layout: read prints/one-lines/specs and bend conduit that coordinates with other trades—no rework
- On-time startup: pull, terminate, and test feeders/branches; verify voltage, rotation, and load to commission without delay
- Rapid recovery: troubleshoot, repair, and document fixes that stand up to audit
- Relentless safety: clean work areas, daily OSHA and LOTO discipline, and a safer site by day’s end
Pay, per diem, and travel
- $50–$55/hour depending on experience and work history
- $180/day tax-free per diem for eligible travel costs
- Lodging provided
- Work 5 days, receive 7 days of per diem
- Planned 10-year project horizon; travel role for those comfortable working away from home
