This role is ideal for a motivated professional with at least three years of inspection experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality work. You will play a critical role in ensuring fire protection systems operate properly comply with applicable codes and standards and help protect what matters most for our customers.Key Responsibilities· Perform inspections testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and related life safety equipment in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.· Identify system deficiencies and accurately document findings corrective actions and recommendations.· Complete inspections efficiently and thoroughly while meeting customer expectations and company standards.· Provide customers with professional responsive and knowledgeable service at every interaction.· Maintain detailed electronic inspection reports timesheets safety documentation and related records.· Utilize mobile technology and scheduling software to manage assigned inspections and service activities.· Review inspection results with customers and clearly explain findings and recommended corrective actions.· Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and dependable service.· Ensure company vehicles tools equipment and supplies are maintained in safe working condition.· Stay current with NFPA codes industry standards and emerging fire protection technologies.· Support teammates and assist with additional inspection-related activities as needed.· Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.Were looking for professionals who· Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.· Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.· Work independently while managing priorities effectively.· Pay close attention to detail and documentation accuracy.· Approach every inspection with integrity professionalism and accountability.· Enjoy building strong customer relationships and representing the company in the field.QualificationsRequired· High school diploma or equivalent.· Minimum of three 3 years of fire sprinkler inspection experience.· Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and inspection requirements.· Experience using mobile devices and electronic inspection reporting systems.· Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.· Strong verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred· Experience with fire alarm systems andor fire extinguisher inspections.· NICET certifications or the willingness to obtain certification.· Additional industry-recognized fire protection certifications.Certifications & Licenses· State of Wisconsin Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Tester License Required· WI DSPS Cross Connection Tester License Required· NICET Certifications preferred or willingness to obtain· Additional applicable industry certifications are a plusPhysical Requirements & Work Environment· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.· Comfortable working at heights climbing ladders operating lifts and navigating stairs.· Ability to stand walk bend crawl and perform physical work throughout the day.· Ability to work in commercial industrial and residential environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.· Ability to regularly use computers tablets and mobile devices to complete required documentation.Why Join Grunau Fire ProtectionCompetitive CompensationWe offer competitive pay that recognizes your experience skills and contributions.Comprehensive BenefitsEnjoy an industry-leading benefits package that includes medical dental vision and additional programs designed to support your health and well-being.Strength of the FamilyThe Davis-Ulmer Family of Companies with more than 30 locations across the East Coast and Midwest is built on a team-first culture.
