We're looking for someone who brings strong technical skills, a passion for exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, team-first attitude. This is a great opportunity for an experienced waxing professional who enjoys mentoring others and wants to grow into a leadership or training role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Lead Cerologist, you'll deliver exceptional waxing services while helping set the standard for guest experience and teamwork.
- Perform professional face and body waxing services in accordance with Waxing the City standards, protocols, and state board regulations.
- Build lasting guest relationships through personalized service, education, and thoughtful rebooking recommendations.
- Recommend services, aftercare products, and membership options that support each guest's needs.
- Lead by example in technical excellence, sanitation, professionalism, and guest care.
- Meet individual performance goals for sales, rebooking, retention, and other key studio metrics.
- Mentor and support fellow Cerologists, sharing best practices and encouraging continued growth.
- Work collaboratively with studio leadership to support team goals, guest satisfaction, and studio success.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Required: Current CA State Licensure (Esthetician, Cosmetologist).
- Required: Weekend availability.
- 2+ years of professional waxing, esthetics, or high-volume hair-removal experience.
- Willingness to learn and consistently follow Waxing the City techniques and protocols.
- A natural ability to build relationships and develop repeat clientele.
- Confidence recommending services and products based on guest needs.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to connect aftercare recommendations to individual guest needs.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to coach and mentor others.
Previous leadership or training experience is a plus but not required. We're looking for someone who leads by example and is excited to grow.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Stand for extended periods (often 6–8+ hours per shift).
- Bend, reach, squat, and move throughout the studio.
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
- Maintain dexterity for precise waxing services.
- Lift and carry supplies up to approximately 20–25 pounds.
