Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is hiring a Licensed Electrician for an opportunity in Pryor, OK. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring all work meets applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company requirements.

The Licensed Electrician will work with power distribution, lighting, control systems, equipment wiring, motors, panels, and other electrical infrastructure to support safe and reliable operations.
Responsibilities

• 
  Install, modify, maintain, and terminate electrical systems and equipment.
  
• 
  Work with power distribution systems, lighting, control systems, equipment wiring, panels, outlets, and related components.
  
• 
  Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  
• 
  Install and route conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical components.
  
• 
  Ensure electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes.
  
• 
  Diagnose electrical problems using test equipment, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures.
  
• 
  Perform corrective repairs to restore electrical systems and equipment to proper operation.
  
• 
  Conduct preventive maintenance on switchgear, transformers, motors, panels, control systems, and other electrical equipment.
  
• 
  Repair or replace breakers, contactors, relays, switches, wiring, and other electrical components.
  
• 
  Document maintenance, repair, and installation activities according to company procedures.
  
• 
  Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, and potential code violations.
  
• 
  Follow lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA requirements, and all company safety policies.
  
• 
  Use required PPE, tools, and electrical testing equipment safely.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  
• 
  Coordinate electrical work with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and other trades.
  
• 
  Assist with project planning, material requirements, and timelines.
  
• 
  Communicate work status, electrical issues, and recommendations clearly.
  
• 
  Train or mentor apprentices and less-experienced employees as assigned.
  

Requirements

• 
  Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
  
• 
  High school diploma or GED required.
  
• 
  Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety requirements.
  
• 
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
  
• 
  Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  
• 
  Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe electrical work practices.
  
• 
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other trades.
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  
• 
  Ability to work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
