What YOU Will Do:

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop a team of residential electricians and electrical service technicians
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the electrical department
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and customer service
  • Ensure electrical work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable codes and company standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to electricians in the field
  • Assist technicians with troubleshooting complex electrical issues when needed
  • Monitor department performance, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and team meetings to improve technician performance
  • Ensure technicians properly document work, recommended repairs, and completed services
  • Address customer concerns and help resolve escalated service issues
  • Partner with company leadership to identify opportunities to grow the electrical department
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and solutions-focused work environment

What We Need From YOU:

NORTH CAROLINA ELECTRICAL LICENSE REQUIRED: Candidates must currently hold an active North Carolina Electrical License. This is a mandatory requirement for this position.

  • Active North Carolina Electrical License
  • Strong residential electrical service and technical experience
  • Previous electrical leadership, supervisor, service manager, or operations management experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safe work practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold a team accountable
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support on complex residential electrical issues
  • Strong understanding of residential service operations and the customer experience
  • Ability to manage department performance, scheduling, staffing, inventory, and field operations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, dependability, and accountability
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to building and developing a successful team
  • Must successfully complete required motor vehicle and background checks and drug screening
