What Youll Do
- Perform standardized oral health screenings for third grade students in school settings
- Document screening findings using standardized survey tools and required methodologies
- Follow program-specific protocols and infection control procedures
- Support statewide data collection efforts related to pediatric oral health conditions
- Coordinate with program administrators, school officials, and designated survey staff to facilitate screening activities
- Participate in required state-led calibration and training prior to conducting screenings. Planning for end of September.
What You Need
Required- Valid, active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Oklahoma
- Ability to follow standardized screening protocols, documentation requirements, and infection control procedures
Preferred- Experience with school-based screenings or public health survey work
About the Assignment
This assignment supports a statewide oral health survey evaluating oral health conditions among third grade students through standardized screening procedures across multiple regions in Oklahoma. You will complete a one-day state-led calibration/training prior to screenings and then support survey activities for an estimated number of days per region, continuing until all required screenings are completed.
