About the Role

Honest Networks is seeking a Licensed CT Electrician Field Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and expansion of our high-speed internet network throughout Connecticut. This role combines electrical and low voltage work with hands-on field service and customer interaction. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, comfortable working independently in the field, and committed to delivering high-quality work and a positive customer experience. 

This role is on-site, open to full-time and part-time schedules. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform low voltage installations, including Cat5e/6 cabling, in customers' apartments and buildings.
• Terminate and test network cabling to ensure proper connectivity and performance.
• Install and support Wi-Fi and wireless network infrastructure.
• Perform firestopping and ensure proper sealing of cable penetrations in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Complete and maintain proper cable penetrations between floors and building spaces.
• Perform electrical and low voltage work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and building requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee electrical and low voltage inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or connectivity issues in the field.
• Communicate professionally with customers, building management, and internal teams.
• Travel throughout Connecticut to customer and building appointments using mass transit.

Requirements

• Current, valid CT Electrician License required.
• Experience performing electrical and/or low voltage installations.
• Knowledge of low voltage cabling, including Cat5e/6 installation and termination. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. 
• Ability to work in fast-paced, field-based environments.
