Pay Range: $2,026/weekly.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

  • Regular Pay: $19.50
  • Weekly Housing Stipend:$1,246.00
  • Weekly Per Diem: $780.00
  • Weekly Gross Pay:$2,026


Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Provides support services to severely emotionally disturbed adult behavioral health clients in order to meet the individual needs of the clients, to coordinate treatment, to assist the client with achieving the best possible functional level, to maximize symptom self-management and to enhance quality of life and recovery.
  • Emphasis is on in-clinic treatment using individual and group interventions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Skills-GA LCSW. 
  • AHA BLS. Acute Hospital experience.
  • Assesses clients on an on-going basis to evaluate biopsychosocial functioning and propose a provisional diagnosis.
  • Assists clients and their families (if appropriate) in developing individualized treatment plans. 
  • Reviews progress towards goals and objectives and monitors to ensure current services adequately address client’s needs, adjusting treatment plan as necessary. Completes treatment plans as required.
  • Provides a variety of clinical interventions. 
  • Assists in the acquisition of symptom monitoring and illness management skills. 
  • Provides group skills training, individual and group counseling/psychotherapy, family counseling. Provides relapse prevention strategies and plans.
  • Supports the role of the psychiatrist.
  • Documents assessments, interventions, treatment plans and clients’ response to treatment in client record. Completes documentation in a timely and legible manner.
  • Provides assessment, support and intervention in crisis situations.
  • Provides coordination with family/significant others and with other systems of care such as the justice system, protective services and other social systems - when appropriate.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary case conferences to facilitate coordination of care
  • Identifies appropriate ancillary services and initiates referrals to community agencies as needed.
  • Maintains caseload/productivity at acceptable level.
  • Provides educational services to clients, family members and the community.
  • Participates in team meetings, conferences, and planning sessions. 
  • May assist in the development of new treatment programs and services.
  • Assists other BHS staff in the care of clients, as directed by supervisor.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical/ electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to Manager.
