Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry Behavioral Medicine seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Work Practitioner with experience to work in its Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following; provide individual, family, marital and group psychotherapy, evaluation and assessment of patients' mental status, behavioral and social circumstances, family dynamics and resources, biopsychosocial formulation and DSM diagnosis; emergency treatment, early appointment or routine appointment; perform emergency and crisis intervention for immediate emergency or walk-in patients.
Make referrals to other treatment programs when clinically appropriate.
This position also has the ability to participate in the teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, psychiatry residents, and other health professional trainees.
