Trinity Christian Counseling is seeking compassionate, licensed and associate-licensed mental health therapists to join our growing Christian counseling practice.

We provide an established referral stream and comprehensive administrative support, allowing our clinicians to focus on providing excellent client care. Our administrative team handles insurance verification, credentialing, claims, billing, collections, client calls, and new-client intake scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits

 

Full-time compensation ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, based on licensure, experience, schedule, caseload, and position. Part-time opportunities are also available.

Work Setting and Schedule

This is a primarily in-person position at our Winston-Salem office. It is not a routine remote or work-from-home position.

Telehealth may be used during inclement weather, temporary office closures, or other practice-approved circumstances.

Full-time clinicians are generally expected to schedule approximately 25–28 client appointments per week. Caseload expectations are adjusted appropriately for part-time clinicians.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy based on clinical competency
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Develop and maintain an active caseload
  • Provide ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and participate in consultation and peer support
  • Integrate Christian principles when clinically appropriate and consistent with treatment goals, and informed consent
  • Maintain all applicable licensure, supervision, and continuing education requirements
  • Follow applicable ethical, legal, insurance, and practice standards

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Current, active North Carolina license in good standing, including LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, or LMFTA
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, documentation, and therapeutic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team
  • Ability to support the mission and values of a Christian counseling practice while respecting each client’s clinical, cultural, and spiritual preferences

 

Associate-licensed clinicians must maintain all supervision arrangements required by their licensing board.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Trauma-informed care or credentialed trauma specialty
  • Marriage counseling or family-systems therapy
  • Working with children or adolescents
  • Electronic health records and telehealth platforms
  • Insurance-based outpatient mental health care
