    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    License Requirement

    Must possess and maintain a current, unrestricted professional clinical license in the applicable state, including one of the following:


    • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

    Equivalent independently licensed behavioral health credentials may be considered in accordance with state and organizational requirements.


    SUMMARY OF POSITION


    The Clinical Grant Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, marketing, organization, and management of assigned program areas, including supervision of staff, interns, and practicum students as assigned. This position ensures compliance with organizational standards, grant requirements, regulatory expectations, and applicable federal and state laws while promoting exceptional internal and external customer service.


    The Clinical Grant Coordinator oversees the implementation and daily operations of the Promoting Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care (PIPBHC) program, supporting the integration of behavioral health, primary care, and community-based services to improve access, coordination, and health outcomes for individuals served.

    This position provides leadership for program operations, grant management, clinical oversight, staff supervision, quality assurance activities, performance improvement initiatives, and strategic planning efforts. The Clinical Grant Coordinator is responsible for ensuring grant objectives, deliverables, performance measures, reporting requirements, and compliance standards are achieved.


    The role collaborates with organizational leadership, healthcare providers, community agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen integrated care services, improve program effectiveness, and support sustainability efforts. The Clinical Grant Coordinator serves as a key resource for staff development, operational problem-solving, and continuous quality improvement while maintaining a commitment to person-centered and trauma-informed care.

    This position serves as the replacement for the Clinical Manager role and maintains responsibility for program leadership, staff supervision, operational oversight, compliance, and service excellence within assigned program areas

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversees implementation and ongoing operations of the PIPBHC grant program, ensuring achievement of project goals, deliverables, and performance measures.
    • Supervises program staff, clinicians, interns, and practicum students as assigned to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
    • Provides clinical supervision and consultation consistent with licensure requirements and organizational policies.
    • Assists with recruitment, onboarding, development, training, and performance management of assigned staff.
    • Monitors program performance, outcomes, and key performance indicators and implements corrective actions when needed.
    • Coordinates program activities across behavioral health, primary care, and community partners to support integrated service delivery.
    • Develops and maintains effective relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, community organizations, funders, and stakeholders.
    • Manages grant-related reporting, documentation, budgets, and compliance requirements in accordance with funder expectations and organizational policies.
    • Analyzes program data and prepares reports demonstrating program effectiveness, outcomes, and compliance with grant requirements.
    • Identifies opportunities for operational improvements, service enhancements, and increased efficiency.
    • Participates in strategic planning, program development, and sustainability initiatives for integrated healthcare services.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, accreditation, payer, grant, and organizational regulations and standards.
    • Supports quality assurance and performance improvement activities designed to improve service quality and client outcomes.
    • Makes operational decisions in the absence of the Clinical Manager or Director to ensure continuity of services and program operations.
    • Participates in staff meetings, leadership meetings, clinical staffing, quality improvement activities, and other committees as assigned.
    • Maintains effective communication and collaboration with leadership, staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
    • Provides direct clinical services, including assessments, counseling, treatment planning, and consultation as needed to support program operations and client access to care.
    • Assists clients with linkage to internal and external resources and promotes a coordinated, person-centered approach to care.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Knowledge of integrated behavioral health and primary care service delivery models.
    • Knowledge of grant management, reporting requirements, compliance standards, and program evaluation methodologies.
    • Knowledge of behavioral healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement practices.
    • Strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
    • Ability to interpret and utilize data to support decision-making and program improvement.
    • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of community resources and healthcare systems.
    • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in electronic health records, Microsoft Office applications, and data management systems.
    • Ability to work independently while effectively leading cross-functional teams.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education Level              

    Master’s Degree in Human Services


    Years of Experience       

    Demonstrated skill in performing clinical services


    Certification/Licensure 

    Clinical License required. SAS staff must have certification or licensure within the required time frame mandated by DASA Staff Qualifications (or within 2 years of hire, whichever comes first).

    Pay Range:

    $55,900.00--$78,330.00
