Join our Mobile Response & Stabilization Services (MRSS) team and help youth, adults, and families navigate behavioral health crises with compassion, clinical expertise, and immediate support. As a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, you will provide crisis intervention, safety assessments, stabilization services, and follow-up care designed to keep individuals safely connected to their homes and communities whenever possible.
This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about crisis response, community-based behavioral health, and creating meaningful change for individuals and families during critical moments.
Provide mobile crisis response services and behavioral health assessments for youth and families in crisis
Conduct risk assessments, mental status evaluations, lethality assessments, and safety planning
De-escalate crises and provide stabilization support in home and community settings
Develop, implement, and update individualized crisis and safety plans
Coordinate care with families, first responders, hospitals, schools, and community providers
Facilitate hospital admissions and transportation arrangements when clinically appropriate
Support youth and families during the 7-day post-crisis stabilization period
Collaborate with peer supporters, paraprofessionals, and interdisciplinary team members
Connect individuals and families to ongoing clinical, natural, and community supports
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and state requirements
Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing training opportunities
Our MRSS team provides 24/7 emergency behavioral health crisis response services throughout Montgomery and Preble Counties.
Face-to-face mobile response: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Telephonic crisis support: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
We operate from a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and work collaboratively with community partners, first responders, families, and behavioral health providers to promote stabilization and reduce unnecessary hospitalizations.
We welcome candidates holding one of the following Ohio licenses:
LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S
LSW, LISW, LISW-S
MFT, IMFT, or related trainee licenses
Licensed Psychologist or supervised psychology trainee/intern
Master’s level counselor trainee
BSW with Social Work license or licensure eligibility
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Ability to respond within 60 minutes when needed
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of community resources and crisis intervention preferred
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply

Master’s Level: $58,000 – $62,000
LISW: $62,000 – $67,000
