Licensed Beautician

We are looking for a dedicated Beautician to join our team. The Beautician provides Taylor Community Residents with hair, wig, and scalp care, including perms, tints, cuts, colors, conditioning, sets, washes, manicures and other services as requested. This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, Tuesday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs perms, tints, cuts, colors, conditioning, sets, washes, and other services as requested.
• Removes ear hair (for Nursing Residents, notifies Nursing if nasal hair needs trimming).
• Provides hair care to Nursing Residents confined to bed.
• Provides Beauty Shop services to all Residents of our extended community, including in-home care for Ledges and Woodside Residents who are unable to come to the Beauty Shop.

Requirements:

• Current and valid NH Beautician's license.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a salon or beauty industry, previous experience working with senior clients preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
