Licensed Beautician/Cosmetologist

Summary:

Bristol Rehab is seeking a qualified Licensed Beautician to provide weekly services to our residents as an independent contractor. Flexible part time hours. Previous nursing home experience preferred but not required.

Bristol Rehab provides 5-star treatment at our facilities. This position is in a long-term care facility so most of your clients will be older adults and some may have mild to moderate cognitive impairment.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule work hours and work days to meet the needs of the residents and the facility's schedules as approved by the Administrator.
• Maintain the beauty shop in regard to safety and sanitation to the satisfaction of the Administrator.
• Perform beauty services to the satisfaction of administration and residents, allowing residents to input their schedules and hair care.
• Ability to provide grooming services to meet to needs of a nursing home demographic.
• Beautician is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Promotes friendly and positive atmosphere in delivery of beauty parlor services.
• Never leaves a resident unattended.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Cosmetologist.
• Must be able to provide proof of liability insurance.
• Experience working with Long Term Care residents is preferred.
• Must be able to assist with all hair types.
