Shift: 7am to 7:30pm / 36 Hours

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
• Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment
• Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current LPN licensure in Virginia
• Successful completion of an accredited LPN program
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Empathy and compassion for patients' well-being
• Commitment to continuous professional development

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year experience in an acute care facility.
