License Nurse 7a-7p

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The LPN will administer medications and treatments, monitor residents' conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and supervise nursing assistants.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents and report changes to physicians, families, and nursing leadership.
• Complete nursing notes, physician orders, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as needed.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants during assigned shifts.
• Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and residents' rights requirements.
• Participate in staff training, care planning, and quality-assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current, valid LPN license in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and regulations.
• Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of the role.
