    administration

    library.

    Specifically

    elementary

    reading.

    Perform

    routine

    classroom

    duties

    under

    supervision.

    Duties:

    Library

    Program

    Support

    1.

    Manage

    circulation

    desk

    with

    accurate

    use

    of

    the

    library

    media

    center

    circulation

    system,

    efficient

    operation

    of

    book,

    magazine,

    and

    equipment

    circulation,

    and

    service

    to

    all

    library

    patrons.

    2.

    Provide

    individual

    instruction

    and

    assistance

    in

    using

    library

    media

    center

    resources

    (online

    catalog,

    digital

    resources,

    use

    of

    technology

    and

    equipment)

    for

    implementing

    early

    literacy.

    3.

    Shelve

    incoming

    books,

    materials,

    and

    equipment.

    4.

    Ready

    materials

    for

    classroom

    or

    reserve

    collection

    use

    as

    requested

    by

    teachers.

    5.

    Prepare

    library

    media

    center

    displays

    and

    assist

    the

    Library

    Media

    Specialist

    in

    preparing

    instructional

    materials.

    6.

    Assist

    Library

    Media

    Specialist

    in

    the

    presentation

    of

    classes,

    programs,

    and

    special

    events,

    ie.

    Book

    Accurately,

    library

    center

    Collect

    maintain

    fines

    prepare

    parent

    notification

    needed.

    Receive

    materials,

    and

    equipment

    and

    reconcile

    with

    packing

    slips

    and

    invoices.

    10.

    Process

    materials

    and

    equipment

    with

    appropriate

    barcodes,

    labels,

    and

    protection

    materials.

    11.

    Repair

    books,

    magazines,

    materials,

    and

    equipment

    or

    process

    for

    repair

    at

    outside

    facilities.

    12.

    Perform

    routine

    maintenance

    on

    equipment.

    13.

    Assist

    in

    the

    annual

    inventory

    and

    weeding

    of

    library

    media

    center

    materials.
