What Could Your Day Look Like?
As a Voice & Data Technician, you ll be part of the team responsible for keeping commercial projects connected and moving forward.
Your responsibilities may include:
Pulling and routing structured cabling throughout commercial facilities
Dressing and supporting cable for clean, professional installations
Terminating and labeling voice and data cabling
Working with fiber-optic cabling and infrastructure
Installing J-hooks, cable supports, and pathway components
Assisting with testing, identifying issues, and basic troubleshooting
Reading prints, floor plans, and project documentation
Completing assigned installations with attention to project specifications
Working alongside Lead Technicians and other skilled trades professionals to keep projects on track
What Are We Looking For?
You don t have to be the most experienced person on the jobsite but you should be ready to contribute.
Ideal candidates will have:
1-3 years of hands-on commercial structured cabling experience
Experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating cable
Familiarity with fiber-optic cabling and installation practices
Working knowledge of standard low-voltage tools
Ability to follow prints and project instructions
Strong attention to installation quality and organization
Dependable attendance and a team-oriented approach
Motivation to learn new skills and take on greater responsibility
