Level II Commercial Audio/Visual Technician
Ready to take the next step in your AV career? TradeSTAR is hiring Level II Commercial Audio/Visual Technicians for long-term opportunities with an established North Texas technology integration company specializing in commercial construction projects.
This is commercial construction work not live events, entertainment, or production AV.
For more than 20 years, our client partner has delivered innovative AV and technology solutions for schools, corporate facilities, healthcare environments, and other large commercial projects. They are known for investing in their employees and providing opportunities for advancement into leadership roles.
Responsibilities
Install and terminate AV, audio, video, and control cabling
Mount displays, speakers, cameras, and other AV devices
Assist with rack builds and system integration
Read blueprints and construction drawings
Work with Lead Technicians and Project Managers
Help mentor Helpers and Level I Technicians
Requirements
2+ years of commercial AV, low-voltage, or structured cabling experience
Experience on commercial construction sites
Ability to read plans and troubleshoot installations
Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
