What You'll Be Doing

No two projects are exactly alike, but one thing is certain: there's plenty to learn and plenty to do.

As a Voice & Data Technician, you'll help commercial cabling projects come together from the ground up. Your day may include:

• Installing and routing voice and data cabling in commercial environments

• Assisting with the installation of Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling

• Pulling, dressing, routing, and supporting cable

• Assisting with terminating and labeling structured cabling

• Installing J-hooks, cable supports, and related pathway components

• Following prints, work instructions, and direction from lead technicians and supervisors

• Maintaining an organized and safe work area

• Learning industry installation standards and best practices

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything on day one. Bring a solid foundation, a good work ethic, and a willingness to keep learning.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 1-3 years of commercial voice and data cabling experience

• Familiarity with basic hand tools and low-voltage installation practices

• Ability to work effectively as part of an installation team

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Dependable attendance and professional communication

• Interest in developing skills in structured cabling, fiber, and related low-voltage technologies
