    We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Level 3 Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, critical care expertise, and the ability to respond effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations.

    The Level 3 RN ICU will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care while collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in patient condition.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
    • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
    • Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions and specialized equipment.
    • Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies and life-threatening situations.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
    • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
    • Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care.
    • Adhere to all facility policies, professional standards, patient safety guidelines, and infection control requirements.
    • Maintain a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.

    Qualifications

    • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
    • Previous experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or other high-acuity critical care setting.
    • Strong knowledge of critical care nursing principles, emergency response, and patient monitoring.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

    Preferred Certifications

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • Additional critical care certifications may be preferred based on facility requirements.
