As a legal systems consultant on our Corporate HR and Legal Systems team, you'll work closely with Legal Operations and House Counsel to support their processes and systems. As a liaison among business areas, vendors, and IT, you'll ensure the services and functionality we need are in place and that we get the most out of our capital and resource investments. You'll also provide operational support for all systems and software used by House Counsel.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of five years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements) or P&C experience in sales, service or claims.
  • {OR} Successful completion of the Progressive-sponsored LEAP (Learn, Explore, Apply, Prepare) internship program or a minimum of 9 months completion of a Progressive-sponsored Business Systems Consultant loan in program.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of two years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements) or P&C experience in sales, service or claims.

Preferred skills

  • Legal systems support experience; specifically, within the case litigation lifecycle and/or TeamConnect and iManage software.
  • Two or more years of experience working with a vendor to resolve SaaS support incidents.
  • Back-end systems experience in support, testing, and configuring the system of record to meet business needs.
  • Experience working with various business groups to document their problems, consult on resolution, and coordinate with other groups for awareness and agreement.
  • Familiarity with project delivery tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.

Compensation

  • $61,300 - $81,700/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
