Description

A financial services organization is seeking a Legal Specialist for a hybrid role in Winchester, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida. This position provides legal support on matters related to garnishments, child support, tax levies, document review, and compliance-focused case management.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (Tuesday and two additional days on campus)
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on matters involving legal orders, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Review, interpret, and maintain legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage client and customer communications related to legal matters, including phone inquiries.
  • Conduct legal research and help ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain organized case files, tracking systems, and documentation to support efficient case handling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve legal issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Legal Operations or working in a Legal-focused role
  • Experience reviewing legal orders, such as Garnishments, Tax Levies, or Child Support documentation
  • Experience with Legal Document Review, Case File Management, and Legal Research
  • Experience handling client or customer communications related to legal matters
  • Strong knowledge of legal regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail

Desired Skills:

  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Paralegal certification or a Legal Studies background
  • Experience in an Attorney's Office, court, or paralegal environment.
  • Experience collaborating across teams and external partners.
