Legal Secretary

Job Description

Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage attorney's calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements as needed. Maintain and organize client files and legal records, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility. Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and phone calls, promptly and professionally. Assist with billing and timekeeping processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Conduct legal research and gather necessary documents and information for case preparation. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and communication. Perform additional administrative tasks to support the legal team as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Secretary should have: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information. Experience with legal documentation and processes is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
