Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their client's Insurance Defense Litigation practice in Texas. Responsibilities
Case & Calendar Management

• Set up new case files and maintain detailed logs.
• Calendar deadlines, depositions, mediations, and court dates.
• Track settlement processes and file closures.

• Draft legal documents, including Answers, Disclosures, Motions, Orders, and Releases.
• Respond to Discovery requests and manage document production.
• E-file and e-serve legal documents and correspondence.

• Review and respond to email correspondence.
• Coordinate with clients, court reporters, and opposing counsel.
• Assist with mediation logistics, including scheduling and invoicing.

• Enter daily billing entries.
• Maintain and update file lists, deadlines, and draft logs.
• Forward invoices and follow up on service of citations.

• 5+ years of legal secretary experience, with insurance defense preferred.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document platforms, such as ShareFile.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
